If you are interested in adopting a cat from us, this page will explain to you in detail how to go about doing it.
Figure out if the cat you want is up for adoption by checking the Instagram feed and latest blogposts. Read the following write up - Adoption Fees, Adoption Agreement and Adopters' Questionaire below.
Contact Diana at email@example.com with answers to the Adopters' Questionnaire, indicating which cat you are keen on visiting for adoption.
We will then arrange a visit with you at our foster home in Joo Chiat to view the cats. Do note that only screened adopters with satisfactory answers to our Adopters' Questionnaire will be given our address for an adoption visit.
There are requirements in order for a successful adoption to take place, and before we invite you to out cattery in Joo Chiat for a visit with the cats for adoption, we have a number of questions that need answers from you first, as part of our getting to know a little bit more about you, the prospective adopter. We care about who you are because we care about the cats.
Please collate the information below and submit your adoptions questionnaire so we can reach out to you. The questionnaire should take 10 minutes to fill in.
If you have any queries, email adopt(at)lovekuchingproject.org.
Love Kuching Project has high operating costs as we have a comprehensive set up to provide rehabilitation and care to cats and kittens under our care. All cats and kittens adopted from us are well cared for and have been socialised by our volunteers with big hearts. We levy an adoption fee of $65 to treat and rehabilitate our cats and kittens. This rate is based on the adoption rates of various animal rescue organisations.
Our adoption fees are meant to deter pet abandonment, help us to defray our operating costs so that we can help more cats in need, and we sincerely hope that by paying for a cat from us, adopters do not resell the kitty for profit.
We have been collecting adoption fees from owners since our we first started out in mid-2009.
