Georgie and Lavender
Hey its been awhile since we adopted georgie and lavender! And guess what? Georgie is a female! So she is now georgina and they are slightly more than 2kg now. Have been feeding them canned food from fussie cat once a day and dry food once every other hour. They have tasted all the flavours of canned food fussie cat offers and prefer the sardine + chicken. They have been eating ALOT and always whine when we are having dinner and they will jump up on the dining table to steal some food but we don't feed them anything we eat except for a little rice which they lost interest in after a few days. They are REALLY greedy and picky when it comes to food.
Georgie hiding under the bed when we first got them
Sleeping together in their 'house' (look at the way lavender is sleeping on top)
But they sleep all over the house now (sofa, on our beds, on the drawer, under the chair) and are probably awake for only 7 hours a days or less than that.
Brought them to the vet for deworming 3 weeks after we got them and got the booster shots but georgie vomited after it. Bringing them back for the last shot next week! And that was when the vet told us the georgie is a female too. Glad that we adopted them for they have been a bundle of joy to our family (:

Hi everybody!
Miki from Joo Chiat Road
Hi!
This is Xinran.
I adopted Miki early January 2010.
She is doing very well. She has been getting along with my the other cat Viki. However, being female, she is quite feisty and likes to bully Viki even though he is MUCH bigger than she is.
Their diet is mainly dry food: Solid Gold Indigo Moon. I have tried Taste of the Wild, Royal Canine, Wellness and Science Diet but their recent favourite is Indigo Moon. My dad will also give them fish almost every other day. He is very particular about how to cook the fish. The fish are first boiled then toasted to ensure that they remain crispy. The bones will also be soft enough to be eaten and less chance of they choking on hard bones. It's a good source of calcium too. They are occasionally given ikan bilis (first soaked in water to get rid of excess sodium then toasted to dry) and wet can food (They like Tiki CaT, esp the sardine and the mackerel types). They don't respond to catnip so I do give them Matatabi sometimes. They drink lots of water too from their water fountain and I add Dental fresh to keep their breath smelling nice. Once in a while they will get their teeth brushed with CET toothpaste as well. Poultry flavoured so they are quite happy with me rubbing their teeth with the paste. Viki has a bit more taste for human food like seaweed, ba kwa, sweetcorn and chicken so we do give him a bit as a treat sometimes. Miki on the other hand is more wary of human food and usually sticks to her dry food. She also enjoys wet food more than Viki, who often leave at least half a can of wet food even on hungrier days.
Their cute pictures:
This is Viki, Short hair ginger cat. Male, weight 7.5kg.
This is Miki. Short hair cat mackerel tabby, female. Weight about 3kg now. This was when she just arrived.
And a bit more time together...
Now... In the cold aircon room, sharing warmth.
